Amy
Treatment Coordinator and Assistant
I began working at the office in April 2007 and I have been in orthodontics since 2002. As the Treatment Coordinator, I have the privilege of assisting our new patients in the process of beginning their orthodontic treatment. It is truly a pleasure to help our patients as they begin this transformational journey. Before becoming the Treatment Coordinator, I was the Clinical Coordinator for the office and a clinical assistant.
This is a great place to work; I enjoy it so much that I can hardly call it work. I love the patients and the people I work with. We keep up on new technology, yet incorporate good skills that have worked for many years. Each member of our Team has a great sense of humor which helps our patients feel special and more comfortable with each visit. We work well as a team and strive to give our patients the best experience possible. I feel very privileged and fortunate that I get to work here with this wonderful group of people.
I have a husband and 3 kids, two boys and one girl. My fun and fabulous family enjoys the great outdoors and all recreational activities. My favorite thing to do is go to country music concerts.

Breanne
Assistant
I have been with Dr. Rampton since 1979! However, most of those years were while I was growing up, since, he’s my father. I have worked for Dr. Rampton as a chair-side assistant since I graduated from high school in 1998. In 2008 I became the Clinical Coordinator. This gives me many responsibilities including: managing clinical operations and staff, keeping the operatory flowing and running smoothly, and addressing concerns of patients and staff. I continued in this position until March of 2011 when I went to part-time after the birth of my son. I enjoy my job so much because I get to work with people of all ages and help them gain a healthy and beautiful smile that’s good for life! Plus, I love working with my hands! I also do lab work part-time.
In my spare time, I enjoy yard work, water skiing, wakeboarding, hunting, fishing, sports, and singing. A few years ago I had the opportunity to take a year and a half off work to serve a mission for my church in Winnipeg, Canada. Burr! I married my best friend, Nick, in 2004, and in 2010 we had our first child, a boy – what a joy! We also have 2 dogs.

Cheryl
Lab Technician
After my first visit to Dr. Rampton’s office, I left knowing it would be a wonderful place to work! I got lucky and was able to join the team in 1990. My first years were spent as a Clinical Assistant. Then I made the move to the lab, where I enjoy the challenge of fabricating retainers and appliances for our patients. I take pride in my work and in the contribution it makes to our patients’ treatment.
In my spare time, I like to kick back and enjoy life — whatever the day has to offer — spending time with family, friends, and tending my flowers.

Joni
Treatment Coordinator
I am a California “transplant” . . . and was trained in orthodontics from the time I was a young girl . . . My Father was an orthodontist in the San Francisco Bay Area and while growing up I worked for him in the summers.
After living in several cities throughout the Western United States, my husband’s job finally brought us to Layton, Utah in 1993, and we have loved it here!
I originally worked as a chairside assistant for Dr. Rampton beginning in 1994 and in 2002 became the Treatment Coordinator for the office. I get to work with new patients and their families who come to us for their orthodontic treatment. I really enjoy educating people about orthodontics and about the wonderful difference having a beautiful, healthy smile can make in your life and the lives of those you love. We really do love “Giving You Something To Smile About!”
I have been married to my husband, Clay, since 1981 and we have four grown children. In my free time my favorite thing is to be with my family and especially my grandchildren! I also love being outside in the sun. I enjoy sewing, reading, watching movies, being with friends, traveling and going to Lake Powell.
We want your experiences here at Rampton Orthodontics to be the very best, and I love being a part of that!

LeAnn
Scheduling Coordinator
I am the offices’s scheduling coordinator. I have been with the practice since 1990. It is my responsibility to schedule patients’ appointments, take phone calls, and do many other things to help our practice run smoothly. I also spend time each week working with our new patients in the role of back-up treatment coordinator. One of my favorite parts about working at Rampton & Defay Orthodontics is getting to know the patients and their families. I feel very fortunate to be working with Drs. Rampton, Defay, and our very qualified and fun staff.
When I am not at the office, I enjoy being with my family, which consists of my husband, our four children and their spouses, and our nine grandchildren, along with our dog, Bogart. I enjoy singing, reading, mountain biking, and water-skiing.

Marsha
Financial Coordinator
It doesn’t seem possible that I have been a part of Rampton Orthodontics since 1987! And I still love what I do! I coordinate the financial end of things in the office including accounts receivable, insurance claims, and I also help with scheduling. The best part of my job is working with our great patients, parents and a fun and energetic staff. We make our office a fun and enjoyable place for our patients as they receive the very best orthodontic care possible. I really enjoy seeing the wonderful changes orthodontics can make. It truly changes lives!
I have lived in Kaysville with my husband, Steve, for over 30 years. Our 5 children graduated from Davis High, and we love living in this family-oriented community. I love relaxing with my family and especially with our grandkids, and spending time outdoors.

Penney
Clinical Assistant
I started working at Rampton Orthodontics in 2005 and truly enjoy my job as one of Dr. Rampton’s chair side assistants. I love working with our patients to improve their smiles and I believe that their quality of life can improve at the same time! It’s very rewarding to see that kind of change! Our team works hard to maintain an environment that is friendly and professional, and it is a pleasure to be a part of such a great practice!
In my spare time, I enjoy water sports, reading, taking walks and relaxing with my family.

Sarah
Clinical Assistant and Administrative Assistant
I first got to know Dr. Rampton and his wonderful team in 1998 when I decided it was time to take the plunge and get braces. I was constantly impressed with the quality of the service I received and the organization of the office. His staff were all very friendly and I immediately felt at ease. I am now thrilled and privileged to be one of the team, having joined Dr. Rampton’s staff in May 2005. I couldn’t have asked for a more enjoyable, rewarding job, and better people to work with.
I am the mom of 3 children, 2 girls and a boy. They are the joy in my life. I love to spend time with them and my husband. When I am not with my family, I like to read, watch movies, travel, digital scrapbook, sleep, go to lunch with my friends, and spend time in my garden.

Sherrie
Administrative Assistant & Field Trip Coordinator
I have had a unique opportunity to be involved in 12 years of Dr. Rampton’s education and all of his years in practice. Five of those years were while we were dating, and the rest have been as his wife. It has been very fun for me to be able to be more involved in the practice since 1998. At that time, I began setting up field trips for the 3rd graders of our local elementary schools. We furnish buses for them, and the students come to our office and learn about the anatomy of the teeth and face, nutrition, hygiene of the teeth and gums, and other things related to dental health. I love the atmosphere of the office and the amazing team that we work with. It has been very satisfying to be involved with this office and have the opportunity to see ideas and dreams come to fruition.
We have four children, two boys and two girls, two amazing daughter-in-laws, two great son-in-laws, and 4 delightful grandchildren. My greatest joy is spending time with my family. My other interests are reading, gardening, holiday decorating, drama and music.

Terie
Clinical Assistant
I was welcomed to the Rampton Orthodontics Team in 2007. Having had a background in Orthodontics I can truly say this is an office with an impressive and experienced staff. As a Clinical Assistant I have had the opportunity to meet new people and see the wonderful changes in their smiles. I love being a part of Orthodontic care. As a staff we have the privilege to attend Continuing Education courses, and we are always trying to improve our office.
Living and working in Kaysville has been fun. When not at work, I love to cook, scrapbook, read and travel. Most of all, I enjoy being with my husband and five children.
